Timo Glock on the other hand ended up being the lead BMW runner who came in sixth. He came ahead of Marco Wittmann, who was stalemate for Timo and he led the championship. Esteban Ocon was the test driver for Mercedes F1 as well as a reserve for the Renault team. The weekend continued to be successful for him too, as he took up an eighth position in the Mercedes that he drove. Nico Muller and Mattis Ekstrom pulled up in their Audis in the top 10 positions.
